Usually when a sentence starts out like that there is nothing good that follows. Its not usually “hey mom do you care if I wash dishes for you”. Or “hey mom, do you care if I clean the whole house for you just because I love you so much?” Its usually more like”hey mom, do you care if I play with the knife?”
Yesterday, it was “hey mom do you care if I pull out this plant?”. I say sure. Then about 2 minutes later, my heart totally starts beating super fast and that tiny seed of panic starts as I realize I didn’t actually see the “plant”. I make a dash for the front window. But its too late.
My 14 year old along with his best bud, found some tree stump removing tool and ,of course, needed some tree stumps to try it out on.
Those two goof balls were quite proud of themselves and the service they had provided for me.
