So I LOVE I mean LOVE Safeway’s Tomato Basil Soup. Its yummy, creamy,and oh so lovely. So I bought one of the big chunker cans of tomato soup to try and make my own yummy tomato basil. So here is the recipe, and seriously on a cool fall day it was so delicious. Even my hubby who is not a soup guy totally grubbed on it!

• 1 onion chopped
• garlic
• carrots chopped small
• canned tomato soup(I happen to have the big 50 oz. size so thats what I used)
• heavy whipping cream
• milk
• salt and pepper
• basil

So in pot sauted onions, garlic, and carrots until all are soft but not brown. Add tomato soup. Mix heavy whipping cream and milk in tomato soup can and throw it all in the pot. Add basil, salt, and pepper let cook and waa-la…..yumminess.
